When one are drinking the tea, there are other factors that are having their say in how the body will react.

People seem to know that appetite is decreased when drinking green tea. Another experiment that was done with rats show that the green tea reduces the appetite with people. This in turn helps more than the calorie burning from the tea itself as one might not be interested in eating too much candy or other foods that might be bad for you after having a cup of green tea.

Another part that the green tea seem to have in the weight loss factor is that people that used to drink coffee or cappucinos in the morning replace these calorie bombs with the green tea instead.
